Chinese Hot Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 table spoon Oil
- 1 Spring Onion
- 2 Hot Peppers
- 1 table spoon Ginger (shredded)
- 1 table spoon Rice Wine
- 2 table spoon Light Soy sauce
- 900 grams Chicken
- 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 table spoon Light soy sauce
- 2 table spoon Wine Vinegar
- 1 table spoon Sugar
- 1/2 table spoon Salt
- 1 table spoon Anise Pepper
- 1 table spoon Cornstarch
METHOD:
- Marinate the chicken pieces for 15-20 minutes in the ginger, rice wine, soy sauce, mixture prepared in a bowl.
- Cut spring onion and hot pepper diagonally into 1 inch pieces.
- Mix chicken broth, soy sauce , wine vinegar, sugar, salt, and with anise pepper powder.
- Heat oil in a wok, adds the spring onion, and stir fry several times.
- Add chicken pieces along with the marinade to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes more. Add chicken broth mixture , mix well.
- Cook over low heat until chicken pieces are tender.
- Add cornstarch to thicken. serve
