Chinese Sesame Chicken


Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless cubes 1/2 kg
  • Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper crushed 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Egg white 1
  • Cornflour 3/4 cup
  • All-purpose flour  1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Knorr chicken powder 1 sachet 10 g
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Knorr tomato ketchup 1/4 cup
  • Honey 2 tablespoon 
  • Soy sauce 2 & 1/2 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Stock 3/4 cup
  • Cornflour 21 tablespoon
  • Cooking oil 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic chopped 1/2tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds roasted 1/2 tablespoon
  • Green onion leaves
Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add chicken boneless cubes. garlic paste, black pepper crushed, salt, soy sauce, egg white, and mix well, cover & marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In bowl, add cornflour, all purpose flour, baking powder, chicken powder, and mix well.
  3. Now add chicken marinate cubes, cover & shake well.
  4. In wok, heat cooking oil and fry chicken cubes for 2-3 minutes then take out and rest for 10 minutes then again fry until crispy & golden.
  5. In small jug, add tomato ketchup, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil vinegar, sugar, chicken stock, cornflour, whisk well & set aside.
  6. In a wok add cooking oil, garlic` and mix well.
  7. Add prepared sauce, mix well and cook until sauce is thick.
  8. Add fried chicken, sesame seeds and mix well.
  9. Garnish with green onion leaves & serve!
