Layered Pan Pasta Recipe


Ingredients for White sauce:
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 2 tablespoon
  • All-purpose flour 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 1 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
Ingredients for Red sauce preparation:
  • Oil 1tablespoon 
  • Garlic (chopped) 1teaspoon
  • Ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Oregano 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes 1 teaspoon 
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon / to taste
Ingredients for sauteed Veggies:
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tablespoon
  • Green Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
  • Red Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
  • Carrot (chopped) 1 cup
  • Sweet corn 1 cup
  • Broccoli 1 cup
  • Soy sauce  1tablespoon
  • Hot sauce 1 tablespoon 
  • Dried thyme 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon / to taste
Ingredients for Assembling:
  • Oil 1 tablespoon 
  • Spiral pasta (boiled) 4 cups
  • Prepared White Sauce 
  • Prepared veggies 
  • Prepared Red sauce
  • Cheddar cheese (grated) 2 cups 
  • Basil leaves (chopped) 2 cups 
  • Black olives (sliced) 2 tablespoon
  • K&N's Chicken Tempura 330g(8-9 or as required)
  • Oil (for frying) as required
Instructions:
  1. In a pan heat oil and butter. Add all-purpose flour and over low flame until fragrant.
  2. Now add milk and cook until starts to thicken. Add black pepper, salt, and cook until thick in consistency. Your white sauce is ready. Set aside.
  3. In a pan heat oil and add garlic. Cook for a minute. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ketchup and cook for 2-3 minutes. 
  4. Add oregano, chili flakes, salt, and cook until desired consistency has reached. Your red sauce is ready. Set aside.
  5. In a pan heat oil and add garlic .Cook for a minute. Add green capsicum, red capsicum, carrot, sweet corn, broccoli and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add soy sauce, salt, dried thyme, black pepper mix well for 1-2 minute. Your sauteed veggies are ready.
  7. In a pan add oil, and add layer of 2 cups boiled pasta, white sauce, sauteed veggies, red sauce ,cheese.  Again layer with remaining boiled pasta, white sauce, sauteed veggies, red sauce, white sauce, cheese. Now  cover and cook for 6-7 minutes over low flame or until cheese melts.
  8. Fry K&N's Chicken Tempura as per instruction on the pack. Set aside.
  9. Take off lid, add prepared K&N's  Chicken Tempura, black olives and basil leaves. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
  10. Your Layered Pan Pasta with Chicken Tempura is ready
