Macaroni Chaat Recipe
Ingredients:
Prepare Meethi Chutney:
- Jaggery 3/4 cup
- Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
- Salt 1/2 tablespoon or to tablespoon
- Fennel powder 1/2 tablespoon
- Red chili powder 1/2 tablespoon or to taste
- Ginger powder 1/2 tablespoon
- Water 1/4 cup or as required
- Cornflour 1 tablespoon
- Water 3 tablespoon
- Garlic cloves 3-4
- Green chilies 3-4
- Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
- Black salt 1/4 tablespoon
- Salt 1/4 tablespoon or to taste
- Lemon juice 4 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander 1 cup
- Mint leaves 1/2 cup
- Water 1/4 cup
- Macaroni 2 cup (boiled as per pack s instruction)
- Chick peas boiled 1 cup
- Potatoes boiled & cubes 2 medium
- Onion chopped 1 medium
- Tomato deseeded n& chopped 1 large
- Green chili chopped 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds roasted & crushed1 tablespoon
- Red chili crushed 1 tablespoon
- Chaat masala 1 tablespoon
- Red chili crushed
- Cumin seeds roasted & crushed
- Fresh coriander chopped
- Spicy chips
Prepare Meethi Chutney:
- In a saucepan add jaggery tamarind pulp salt fennel powder red chili powder ginger powder and water mix well and bring it to boil & cook on medium flam for 2 minutes
- In cornflour add water and mix well
- Now add dissolved cornflour mix well and cook on low flame until thickens (1-2 minutes)
- Let it cool down
- In a blender jug add garlic green chilies cumin seeds black salt lemon juice fresh coriander mint leaves water blend well & set aside
- In a bowl add macaroni chickpeas potatoes onion tomato green chili cumin seeds red chili crushed chat masala prepared green chutney (2 tablespoon) prepared Meethi chutney ( 2 tablespoon ) & mix well
- In a serving dish add macaroni chat prepared Meethi chutney prepared green chutney red chili crushed cumin seeds fresh coriander spicy chips & serve
