Malai Gulab Jaman Recipe


Ingredients:
  • Khoya 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour 3 tablespoon
  • Semolina 2 tablespoon
  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk 2 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sugar 2 cups
Instructions:
  1. In a bowl add khoya, flour, semolina, baking powder, milk, cardamom powder and mix well. Knead a dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Make small round balls from the prepared dough and deep fry them on low medium flame until golden brown in color. Take off flame and set aside .
  3. In a deep pan heat water and add sugar, cardamom and cook for 4-5 minutes or until sugar completely dissolved .Take  off flame and set aside.
  4. In a pan heat milk and cook until  it is half in quantity. Now add khoya and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame until it is rich and creamy in texture. Take off flame and let it cool on room temperature.
  5. Now dip the gulab jamun in the sugar syrup for about 10-12 minutes or until they are soft.
  6. Now take the the gulab jamun and fill the malai mixture. 
  7. Your Malai Gulab Jamun is ready.
