Malai Gulab Jaman Recipe
Ingredients:
- Khoya 1 cup
- All-purpose flour 3 tablespoon
- Semolina 2 tablespoon
- Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk 2 tablespoon
- Cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar 2 cups
- In a bowl add khoya, flour, semolina, baking powder, milk, cardamom powder and mix well. Knead a dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Make small round balls from the prepared dough and deep fry them on low medium flame until golden brown in color. Take off flame and set aside .
- In a deep pan heat water and add sugar, cardamom and cook for 4-5 minutes or until sugar completely dissolved .Take off flame and set aside.
- In a pan heat milk and cook until it is half in quantity. Now add khoya and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame until it is rich and creamy in texture. Take off flame and let it cool on room temperature.
- Now dip the gulab jamun in the sugar syrup for about 10-12 minutes or until they are soft.
- Now take the the gulab jamun and fill the malai mixture.
- Your Malai Gulab Jamun is ready.
